Hey everyone! I’m a proud dog parent of two pit bull girls. They are my everything. They both had medical emergencies a day apart, which left me with a hefty vet bill.

Stella, my 14-year-old blue nose, got into a dog fight. She broke a tooth and needed stitches for a wound. It was really hard to see her in so much pain and really concerning because of her age. However, she is healing so well and on track for a full recovery. The vet was impressed with how healthy she is for her age.

Phebe is the tan one and my almost three-year-old puppy. Phebe is a rescue that I have been training to be my service dog! She’s so smart and has learned so much already. After I got Stella home from surgery, I noticed Phebe’s paw was likely infected, and we’d have to go back to the ER first thing the next morning. They put her under to get a better look but couldn’t find anything. They said a foreign object could have already fallen out or could have been an insect. Not really sure of the cause, but nonetheless, she will make a full recovery too.

So thankful to have access to the medical care they needed and deserved. Big shoutout to the pet ER I took them both to. They were really kind and thorough, which eased my nerves so much. Big thanks to everyone who offered support; it was a whirlwind of a couple of days.

Due to prioritizing my health and healing, I haven’t been in a position to hold a full-time job, which has had negative impacts on my finances. So, I’m graciously asking for help to cover the cost of my girls’ vet bills.
