Help Stella get her very own Action Track Chair

Being told that our sweet new baby girl would never walk was a shock we never saw coming. Little Miss Stella Rae is now 10 and has been surprising us every single day since! Stella was born with a rare condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita, which caused her to have bilateral clubfoot and bilateral hip dysplasia. AMC causes weak muscles and contractures of the joints making mobility difficult and painful. After numerous surgeries, therapy, and ALOT of determination Stella is able to do more than we ever thought possible. Even with that her mobility is still extremely limited. Stella loves being outdoors with her big brother and showing livestock. She has shown a heifer and steer for two years and is just getting started with goats! If you know anything about working with these animals, you know that you have to be strong, agile, and quick a lot of the time. Stella does her best with what she has to work with but still has so much difficulty and pain. Also, living in the country on a farm, not a day goes by that she doesn’t miss out on something or get left behind because of her limitations.

Recently she had the amazing opportunity to use an Action Track Chair for a few days at the Georgia State Livestock Show in Perry. For just a few days Stella miraculously had NO limitations. That girl could go anywhere and do everything! She could could care for her own animals, walk calves without stumbling and falling, lead her goats without being pulled around, go anywhere and everywhere around the barns that she needed or wanted, and all without the first complaint about pain or not being able to do something that everyone else could do.

The smile on this girl’s face was contagious like I’ve never seen on her before!!! Sadly we had to give the chair back to its owner, but now we know the possibilities for Stella are indeed endless! Her hope is to get an Action Track Chair so she can be completely independent outside and especially in the show ring with a big ole steer like the one in the pictures!!!

These chairs are not cheap by any means and we need your help to make Stella’s big dreams come true!
