We are starting a go fund me in honor of my nephew Andy Stein and his amazing family.  For any of you that may not know, Andy has suffered many broken bones due to a car accident that happened on July 10th.  Andy’s injuries consist of a broken left femur, broken right fibula and tibia, shattered right wrist, a broken sternum, eight broken ribs, slight collapsed upper lobe of the lung and a fracture in his spine.  He received emergency surgery to stabilize everything the day of the accident, with many more surgeries to come.  While all this has gone on Andy remains in good spirits and is working hard to regain his strength. 

Andy is one the most genuine goodhearted guys you will ever meet.  He lives his life around his family and community.  If you know Andy, one of his favorite hobbies is smoking meat.  He has such a love for his family and friends, I think half of his love for smoking is just so he can get together with them.  He loves to see people smile and laugh.

He also has a love for his community.  Andy is a training officer for the Cannon Falls Fire Department so as you know they are normally running toward danger as we run away from it.  They never give up when disaster strikes, and they are there before you ever know you need them.  Which is why we need to rally together as a community to give some of it back to him in his time of need.

We set up this go fund me page to help the Stein family.  There is no definitive timetable for Andy’s progress with the multiple surgeries so as you can imagine they are going to incur significant medical expenses during his healing process, so any donations are greatly appreciated.  If you are unable to donate, prayers and well wishes are just as important.

I also wanted to note there will also be a fundraiser through the Cannon Falls Fire Department, in the near future.
