First Torah for Steinsaltz Yeshiva

We are raising money to donate a Sefer Torah to the Steinsaltz Yeshiva. The Yeshiva does not have their own Sefer Torah, which has made it difficult for them on several holidays and we would like to help them by making sure they have Sefer Torah they can count on to have in the loving memory of Rabbi Adin Even-Israel Steinsaltz OBM.

 

Rabbi Steinsaltz was one of the most revered Jews of modern time, having been named a "Once in a Millenia Scholar" by Time Magazine for his translation and commentary on the entire Babylonian Talmud, in addition to his countless contributions to the Jewish, and non-Jewish, world authoring many books and touching lives through his many speeches and other altruistic endeavors. Rabbi Steinsaltz's motto was "Let My People Know!", and our goal is to continue that mission through this torah donation.

100% of the donations made go directly to the cost of writing a new Sefer Torah to benefit the Steinsaltz Yeshiva. We will continue to update the fundraiser as we receive contributions outside of GoFundMe to reflect the new goal.
