Right after Christmas my wife woke up with pain on her shoulder blade. She thought it was a just a muscle problem but she ended up just dealing with this issue until now! She tried electro acupuncture and chiropractic sessions without any major relief. So she decided to go deeper and understand what is going on with her neck and shoulder. An MRI will give us a clear answer but unfortunately without insurance we would had to pay 7k! That’s when we decided to go to Italy and get a bunch of tests for literally no more than 400 bucks! Long story short she needs an emergency surgery on her cervical area. Two big cervical hernias and a few compressed disk is the diagnosis! she will get surgery in Italy with the love and support of her family but , since she is now an American citizen she won’t be able to have any type of free treatment there. I know she will be fine but this is a very big financial burden for us especially after a long winter without almost any work! She will get surgery on May 3rd at a private hospital in Rome. The cost of this surgery is definitely not affordable for us at the moment but we have no choice and health comes first at all costs! She will be there for 3 more weeks surrounded by the love of her family! All she needs is a healthy body so she can go back to her everyday life! We were really reluctant to even do this but thought it never hurts to try. We appreciate every single one of you who will even to read this and understand that we all are in tough times.
