Stefani is fighting with cerebral paralysis

Stefani was born two and a half months prematurely with an approximate weight of 1300 grams.
The doctors said that an intense, daily physiotherapy is what Stefani needs to begin to step and move on her own without any extra help.  She has 2 physiotherapy per day, 2 swimming therapy per week and 3 ergotherapies per week as well. The doctors do not see any intellectual problems, quite the opposite as she is very smart for her age with a clear thought process and excellent communication skills.

Stefani is also attending to a speech therapy once per week in order to improve her pronunciation. She speaks quite a lot and, her understanding and logical thinking is more than great but the spasticity in her mouth interferes with her pronunciation, and she needs more practice.

My baby girl is a fighter, she already outperformed doctors’ expectations for her whole life at all levels. The physiotherapists believe that if we continue with the rehabilitation, Stefani will be able to walk on her own.

Stefani is a very strong girl, her life started earlier than her body could handle but she is a fighter, she has been fighting to survive from day one. Today she is not just fighting for a better life, we are fighting for Stefani to have a very normal and independent life where she can also contribute to the community.

If I have to say something about me…I am a single parent, fully devoted to my daughter in giving her the best of chances for a normal life! Today Stefani needs even more intense rehabilitation, but I have no way to afford it. She needs special shoes, orthoses, training devices, helping devices but they are crazy expensive.

I am begging for help, begging you to support Stefani in her fight and show her that all the work and destitutions she did are worth it. She needs this in order to become independent and we can both go to a normal/social life. We cannot stop because it is getting harder with time to learn walking, now is the time to achieve this goal.

I am begging with all my heart, help me toto prevent her from sitting in a wheelchair for the rest of her life, after all this hard work she deserves to achieve her dream!
