Last year, our lives changed forever when our dad was diagnosed with colon cancer. It’s the kind of news that stops everything and makes you see what truly matters.
Since then, he has been facing every round of treatment and every tough day with strength and dignity that amaze us. He’s always been the person who made everyone laugh, offered help before anyone had to ask, and put family first no matter what. Even now, despite everything he’s going through, he’s still trying to protect us from worrying.
Thankfully, Dad’s medical bills are covered — but cancer takes away more than just health. It took away his ability to work, and with that, the income he depended on for everyday life: rent, food, and basic needs. Up until now, my brother and I have been covering his living expenses, but the truth is, it’s becoming too much for us to manage alone.
That’s why we’re starting this GoFundMe. We want our dad to keep his focus on healing and living — not on whether there will be enough to pay the bills next month.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help us keep a roof over his head and food on the table. Even sharing this campaign means so much to us.

Anul trecut, viețile noastre s-au schimbat pentru totdeauna când tatan a fost diagnosticat cu cancer de colon. Este genul de veste care oprește totul și te face să înțelegi ce contează cu adevărat.
De atunci, el înfruntă fiecare ședință de tratament și fiecare zi grea cu o putere și o demnitate care ne uimesc. Mereu a fost omul care i-a făcut pe toți să zâmbească, care a sărit în ajutor înainte ca cineva să ceară și care a pus familia pe primul loc, indiferent de situație. Chiar și acum, în ciuda a tot ce trece, încearcă tot el să ne protejeze pe noi de griji.
Din fericire, costurile medicale sunt acoperite — dar cancerul răpește mai mult decât sănătatea. L-a făcut să nu mai poată lucra și, odată cu asta, a dispărut venitul de care depindea pentru lucrurile de zi cu zi: chirie, mâncare, nevoile de bază. Până acum, eu și fratele meu am acoperit aceste cheltuieli, însă, sincer, începe să fie prea greu pentru noi singuri.
De aceea am deschis această campanie pe GoFundMe. Ne dorim ca tata să se poată concentra pe vindecare și pe viață — nu pe grija că nu vor fi bani luna viitoare pentru facturi.
Orice donație, oricât de mică, ne ajută să îi asigurăm un acoperiș deasupra capului și mâncare pe masă. Chiar și doar distribuirea acestei campanii înseamnă enorm pentru noi.
