Steele Family Zogg Fire Recovery

The Zogg Fire ripped through the town of Igo on Sept. 27, 2020. After calling in the Fire to authorities my family had five minutes to escape with nothing but the clothes on our backs.  My grandmother who is 68 has spent 13 years on the property which she purchased after the death of my grandfather, whom she was married to for 37 years. My grandma has raised 6 of her grandchildren in that home with nothing but her Social Security as her only income. She is currently still taking care of three of us ages 16, 17, and 18. AAA has denied her insurance claim stating that she does not have Fire coverage, even though upon purchasing the policy she received verbal confirmation that Fire was covered. And the photo with the few pieces of of furniture was all that the firefighters could save from the house before it succumbed to the flames. Let’s help get my grandma’s home rebuilt. She has spent her whole life giving to others and my wish is that we can help give back to her. My grandma is the best. Anything will help and be most appreciated. Thank you and God Bless.
