As you may have heard in the news, on Wednesday 18th December 2024 St Anne’s club in Stocksbridge was destroyed in a fire. This club was used by Steel Valley Beacon Arts to store the last 25 years worth of costumes, props, set and many other items collected over those years.
We were in the process of building set for this years panto and our set maker Simon Gilmour had all of his power tools and equipment there in order to do this. Unfortunately these are not covered by our insurance.
Although everyone is pulling together to ensure the pantomime goes ahead, and we have been inundated with offers of help with costumes and props, we still need to replace Simon’s tools.
We would like to ask for your help to replace these tools and would really appreciate any donations that you can give no matter how small.
Thank you in advance.
