And there arose also a dispute among them as to which one of them was regarded to be greatest. And He said to them "The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who have authority over them are called 'Benefactors'. "But its is not this way with you, but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant."
"For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But I am among you as the one who serves." "You are those who have stood by Me in MY trials; and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel"
Luke 22:24-30
I've had a growing vision to serve and help people my whole life. "Rule with the heart of a servant. Serve with the heart of a king."
But I've never found MY platform, my medium of serving and educating and motivating people to be the absolute best they can be.
And one day years into strength training and powerlifting, it dawned on me. My platform is thru training with people. It is my way of serving, serving my family, serving my community.
Now it's time to create and serve all of these people.
We have been shut down by every bank and financial institution that we have spoken to. Not because of bad credit, but because I'm willing to give up on my salaried job in favor for going "all in" and working 25/8 in my own business.
They don't know how I'll pay them back and I don't blame them.
But here's what I do know.
My calling is to nurture and help create mentally and physically strong people, to help them reach their potential, to do more and be more than they ever thought possible. It is what I have been put on this Earth for.
But this isn't cheap, leases cost a lot, equipment costs a lot even used, weights...steel and iron and bumper plates and dumbbells cost a ton. Help me make my dreams of being able to help serve and help people young and not so young people learn what it feels like to put in hard work with sweat equity and reap the benefits of that hard work. I promise that I will work tirelessly and pay it forward every chance I get.
Everything I ever needed to learn, I learned in the gym.
Resilience, patience, failure, growth. It is all a process that I love and want to be able to share.
Thank you,
Donnie S.
