My name is Samuel Steege. I am starting this fundraiser because unfortunately, my families house was completely burnt down in a massive brush fire in Medical Lake, WA and there is nothing left. I want to start this in the hope that I can help them get back on their feet after this tragedy, as everything we own from clothes to any sentimental items were 100% lost in the fire. Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out with prayers, donations, and love. We appreciate you more than you will ever know.  We are doing well. Ian begins his senior year of high school tomorrow!! Jason has a new home office in Sam’s house, and I went back to work yesterday. We are spread out across a few homes, but it is working for now. Thank you so much for helping us out by letting Katy and Ian stay with you! Thank you for taking the animals in! Big thanks to our boys for sharing their homes, their computers, and being so incredibly amazing during this time.  A sad update is that Master Splinter will have surgery tomorrow to remove her ears. She will still be able to hear and she is alive!! Her paws are still healing. Priscilla the black goat is hurt worse than we thought and she is at the vet as well. If anyone needs a great vet let me know!! We are very lucky to have our animals be cared for by them.  We will know more about our living situation after tomorrow when we meet with the insurance adjuster. We have a great place to stay for the winter if everything works out. Best part is a 2 minute commute for me!  I am still trying to convince Jason that we need a lazy river around the house and a slide inside when we rebuild. He just wants a big kitchen with an island.
