Steamboat Springs High Schools AfterProm 2023

We care about the safety of our kids and community and we know you do too. For 20 years the upperclassmen of SSHS, Yampa Valley High School & the Steamboat Mountain School have been fortunate to attend the Senior Prom and extend the night at the most popular free party of the year: AfterProm. This year, Prom is Saturday, May 13th and AfterProm runs through the night until 5AM Sunday. Students who attend the AfterProm party are kept off the streets and away from potentially dangerous even deadly alternative activities.

Please consider donating cash, gift card(s) or merchandise to this spring’s High School AfterProm Party. Merchant donations are awarded to students as prizes for the various games and activities conducted at the event. Last spring, many lucky students won gift cards, raft trips, clothing, sunglasses, jewelry, tennis lessons, activity passes and more – all thanks to generous local merchants like you! Kids stay at the party until the very end to see if their name is drawn to win a prize!

The After Prom committee is charged with transforming the school into a completely new ‘venue’ (with more than 100 volunteers!) We are determined to create an experience for kids that will be a memory of a lifetime for them. The success and continuity of this event is dependent on generous financial support from our community. We sincerely appreciate your support for this extremely important event.
