I’m a stealth transgender man (that means I only tell certain people that I am trans) having sex reassignment surgery on August 18th with Dr. Min Jun and Dr. Charles Lee in San Francisco. I’m having an anterolateral thigh flap phalloplasty and will be recovering in the Bay Area. This is my 3rd sex reassignment related surgery and I’ve been on T for coming up on 10 years. I am ready to finally become comfortable in my body.

I have had multiple hospitalizations for suicidal ideation related to my gender dysphoria; even undergoing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy to alleviate my symptoms. By supporting my recovery, you are increasing my likelihood of staying alive.

I have had this surgery scheduled and rescheduled multiple times over the past 3 years due to an insurance battle. I am at the final stretch and want to make sure I am in the right place to recover with as little stress as possible, but I need your support.

I do not have anyone to take care of me after surgery, so I am looking to raise money for my out of pocket surgical cost, a caretaker for my first 3 weeks of recovery, and 3 months of rent in the Bay Area while I will not be able to work.

The funds raised here will also contribute to the out of pocket cost of my final stage of surgery this December.
