Stay Strong Sean

My name is Kris Lake, I am a close friend of the Demshar family.  I have asked and received permission from the family to set up this account to assist Sean and the family as he heals and recovers. Sean is a 19yr old sophomore at IU.  He graduated from BHSN where he played football and baseball.   Sean was involved in a motocross accident on 9-11-16.  The following is a quote from Sean's instagram " On Sunday I had a really bad motocross accident and went over the handlebars on a jump landing.  I wound up with a shattered T5  & t7 vertebrae in my back and a punctured lung.  I have had no feeling below my nipple line since the crash.  This morning I recieved the worst news of my life....I will probably never walk again.   I had my surgery at 11am this morning, August 12th.  Next physical rehab.  I appreciate all the prayers I have recieved and appreciate any more that come my way.  Dark and difficult days lay ahead, keep me lifted up friends, and together we won't let this define me.  "   
     Sean faces a long recovery time and the family will have extensive medical costs.  It would be ideal if his family could take time off of work to care for him and assist in his recovery and rehabilitation.  Employers do not pay you when you take FMLA time so I am hoping this fund will allow them to be with Sean as necessary.    There will be required adaptations to their home and automobiles to allow for accessibilty.  All money will go directly to the family to assist with these expenses (medical bills, insurance, adaptations, etc).  
      I cannot think of a more deserving family.  I have watched Sean grow up as I worked with his brother and got to see first hand what incredible people the Demshars are.... they are hard working, loving, gernerous, dedicated and God fearing people.  I could never say enough good things about the Demshars.  
    If you could find it in your heart to donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated.  As Sean said we will not let this define him.
