Lets Help David Stutzman remain Stutzman Strong!

On August 25th, 2020, while doing farm work, my father in law, David Stutzman sustained serious injuries to his leg when he fell from a cart while raking hay.
Due to the injuries sustained in the accident, he was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals in which he underwent numerous surgeries over a weeks' time.
However, due to the extensive damage, doctors determined that his leg would have to be amputated.
His leg was amputated above mid thigh on Friday September 4th, 2020.
Since surgery, David has been determined to recover. We have received news today (September 6th) that he is up moving around and is mobile. GREAT NEWS, and no surprise, as David is tough as nails.
Because of this unforeseen circumstance, I have elected to establish a Go Fund Me Page to help my father and mother in law with expenses. David plans to be fitted for a prosthetic when his wound is completely healed, however, we are still unsure of how their insurance will cover this expense. We want to be sure that David gets the best care and prosthetic he can, so he can return back to a normal a life as possible.
Donations will also cover travel expense for Edna and David as they find transportation to and from appointments with many different doctors.
The family has received so many well wishes and prayers and for that, we are so thankful. Any sort of monetary donation will help the family tremendously with the expenses they will encounter through out David's journey to remain Stutzman Strong!
