Hello All, thank you for taking the time to read my post and hear my ask for help. Some of you that know me well know that over the last year I have been rebuilding my life from some devastation that was the result of a perfect storm of grief and health related issues. Well, it was not easy but in July I was able to buy a used car and I have been working extremely hard to heal, rebuild my life, achieve some stability and continue my journey and my dream of becoming a Public Health Nurse. Well, Sunday evening on my way home from work my car stopped accelerating and I coasted off the freeway as it died. Long story short, I had to get it towed ($150), Uber to and from car and AVIS ($90)then rent a car for the week ($298) and just found out that I need a new engine in order to repair my car ($2700). I am trying not to panic, as I don't believe that I have come this far just to have car issues and finances send me over the edge. I work full time providing supported living services to adults with developmental and physical disabilities so I have to have transportation for them and me. I just bought my car and am still making payments so I have to get it fixed.

Those of you that know me know that I have spent most of my life and resources helping others and I absolutely identify as a lover of my community but this time I must get over my pride and ask for my communities help. I just cant do this alone. So, I am asking for help here and welcoming all donations big and small. I am incredibly grateful for love, prayers and $$$ to get me through this part of my journey. I guarantee you that helping me get back on the road is helping me on my road to recovery as well. Thank you all so much!
