Another year, another opportunity to make the world a better place! We're grateful that you've taken the time out to check out our fundraiser for 2021! Our fundraiser officially opens on June 18th, but we are currently accepting donations.
Here's the gist. As a certified attorney in the state of Florida, I know firsthand the trials and tribulations that come along with gaining access to the legal field. The first challenge for many is that very first year of law school. To help ease the stress of law school, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds for an incoming Howard Law student.
The facts:
- Black attorneys make up only 4% of the legal field.
- Howard has been ranked No. 2 of 100 Law Degree Producers for African American by Diverse Issues in Higher Education.
- Howard Law has produced a number of esteemed attorneys, including: Thurgood Marshall, Letitia James, Judge Damon Keith, Charles Hamilton Houston, and Vernon Jordan.
Our first nine donors will select the scholarship recipient, and if we significantly surpass our goal we will spread the wealth to more than one incoming student.
Join us in preparing the next generation of Howard Lawyers. All donations will go directly to the selected scholarship recipient. Help us ease the strain of law school, and uplift our community into a new age of change and legal evolution.
