On May 10, 2018 Matthew was taken by ambulance to Saint Al’s in Boise, Idaho. On May 11 he was placed in a coma and on May 12 he was completely paralyzed with a medication and placed on kidney dialysis with hopes of trying to save his kidneys. Come to find out Matthew would had gone into toxic shock syndrome with multiple multiple organ failure.
Last February he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and was only given two years to live at that time. Over the past year and a half Matthew has been
.admitted to the hospital and has had several hospital stays is due to his heart failure and getting pneumonia many times and with one 21 day stay due to a punctured lung. 
In October 2017 he was only given six weeks to live. We all know that Matthew is a fighter and very strong
