Ben Wiench-Warner Memorial

Donation protected

Ben was a loving, sweet, and kind being.  It breaks my heart to turn this recovery campaign into a memorial.  Ben was and is so loved and will be greatly missed.  After 2 days of testing, and retesting, Ben has been declared brain dead and to my familys diamay is no longer with us. Although our questions with God are many, our family finds comfort in his hands and knows Ben's journey to be bold, true and forever faithful.   Ben will remain on major life support until his last selfless gifts of life are given  to those  in need on the organ donation registry.   My heart aches for my Aunt Laurie.  Thank you all for your ongoing  prayers and support.

Back Story: Ben Wiench-Warner is in coma in critical condition and on life support at the University Hospital in Madison WI.
Ben had his appendix removed a few months ago and returned to the clinic a few days ago due to shortness of breath. They found a large amount of pulmonary Embolisms in his lungs. Ben was immediately hospitalized and put on blood thinners. Ben's body unfortunately was not responding quickly enough with led to a further development that Ben has a genetic condition with clotting factor 5. Ben was rushed into surgery to remove the Embolisms and an hour after in recovery he coded.  They revived him but are unsure if there was any damage done to the brain.   Ben is now in a coma, on life support with a catheter in his heart and lungs. Prior to surgery Ben had been given a 50/50 chance to recover, the odds are no longer in his favor and our family is devistated. Ben needs our help! Ben is loved so much by his family and friends.  Its heart wrenching that this could happen to such  a sweet and caring guy. Ben is a college student, an athlete, a son, a brother, my awesome little cousin and unfortunately uninsured.....Ben needs our help!  Ben has a long road to recovery and could use all the support and prayers this world has to offer.  Please help Ben.
