Statue in Memory of Jager
Donation protected
Jager, the "Unofficial Mayor of Linden Hills" and beloved shop dog of Settergren's of Linden Hills (and originally the Penn Ave. store), passed away this fall at the age of 13. We are creating a public memorial statue of this dear dog who touched so many people.
Mark Settergren, Joe, and the entire Settergren's team are thankful for all the contributions and the outpouring of love over the loss of their special family member.
We have commissioned artist Michelle Recke, who created the K9 Officer Memorial for Edina PD, to create the sculpture of Jager that will be cast in bronze. Once completed, it will be placed outside of Settergren's for the community to enjoy for years to come.
Thank you to the Linden Hills Neighborhood Council for supporting this effort. If this GoFundMe campaign reaches its goal of $9000, the council has pledged to donate the remaining $1000 necessary to complete the project. We have some fun and charitable ideas if we surpass our goal.
