UNM Collegiate Tennis Seminar Tuition for EVHS

Hello, my name is Lloyd Wilton, and I am a volunteer Espanola Valley tennis coach. My motivation lies in my love for helping the youth of our communities, tennis, and Northern New Mexico roots.

I grew up learning the game on the Espanola Valley High School tennis courts. I played for Los Alamos High School because of my father's career at Los Alamos National Laboratory. My twin brother and I earned a 4-year college scholarship to play for Western New Mexico University. I coached at Los Alamos High School for eight beautiful years and took a break when I had my two children (3 and 1).

Now, I am home in Espanola and witnessing the passion and promise of 5 Espanola Valley tennis players in their pursuit to be college athletes. Ian, Owen, Damien, Joaquin, and Olivia's motivation and hard work over the years have proven to our coaching staff they deserve an opportunity to be educated in the college recruiting process. UNM provides a 2-day camp offering three educational seminars and on-court instruction about college tennis and the recruiting process. Will you please join me in raising the tuition for these young people to pursue their passion? The camp will be held in Albuquerque, NM December 3-4, 2022.
