'Stasis Society'

'Stasis' - being stuck in a state of inactivity, stagnation, or stability, where there is little or no change or development.

• Separated by time but interlinked by their surrounding scape, The Collective Protagonist realities unfold side by side, their lives intertwined yet never intersecting.

'Stasis Society' is an interpretive drama, following the experience of both troubled, and quaint individuals of Today's human collective. Through intimate, unsettling and tranquil scenes, we witness how one location can be associated with ever growing individual sentiment. As every incident occurs, a fragment of their story is abandoned by the Canal, enabling new memories to take place within the realm.

With each narrative, we become exposed to the beauty of existing within our socially connected society, caught in our obsessions of surviving within humanity's fast paced current; we often forget the privilege that it is to feel.

Message Conveyment:

The modern mind often flits from one distraction to another, struggling to maintain concentration in a world that never slows down.

Within today's society, we are continuously exposed to rapid paced multimedia.

Overrun with quick, bite size content, our focus has been eternally damaged, making it increasingly challenging for one's emotional engagement with deep and complex art forms.

As our situation worsens, our brain's relapse without constant stimulation, not only reshaping how we process information but also, how we relate to one another.

'Stasis Society' reflects this through a streamline of quick pace, intensive human emotive scenes. As every scene passes by, the audience struggles to form a deeper connection with the ever changing character but instead, becomes enthralled with the rushed action, stimulating scenes and demanding sensations.

Until finally, as we reach the pinnacle of the restless movement, we force silence upon the audience, inevitably confronting them with a still, steady sequence.

We intend for the final scene to encourage the audience to reclaim their focus, to reclaim their present.

Already having a fantastic amount of people on board and currently working closely with the wonderfully talented Winter Bull Productions, we are seeking £5,000 to secure our desired crew and ensure that this beautiful project reaches its full potential. With the right team in place, we can bring our shared vision to life and create something truly impactful. This funding not only supports production-it transforms the project into a meaningful investment for everyone involved.
