Starved Neglected dog needs treatment

Hi I am Tasha and I am fundraising for a SWEET 2yo Boxer and Black Mouth Cur mix that was found in 77069 on Sunday 11-07-21. He's very sweet with people but not safe with other animals yet. He shows fear & aggression.

I have gotten him up to date on all the necessary things like Rabies, Bortadatella, etc. He's had full bloodwork which found hookworm and tapeworm and he is being treated for those. He is also on anti-anxiety medication while being boarded. Additionally, he has heartworms and will need that treatment once he gains more weight (this is the most expensive item). He also needs to be neutered once he gains weight and completes current deworming meds. I plan to get him neutered as soon as he is able. His prognosis is excellent!

I cannot have him at my home because I have 3 dogs, and he is showing aggression. For this reason, in addition to his special food (High fat, low carb canned Science Diet) and medical care, I'm having to board him until I can find a suitable forever home or foster/rescue and although I am reaching out to MANY rescue groups I have no responses yet I do not know how much longer I will have to board him. He so deserves love, and he LOVES people.

I am fundraising for his current and future expenses so that whoever takes him in has financial help for his needs. ALL items I have purchased for him and funds raised for heartworms and unspent funds raised will go with this dog and his new caretakers.

Despite his state, he is very energetic and will surely end up a hearty dog that needs lots of exercise and room to roam. Please help this sweet dog who clearly had a horrible start to life.
