It’s been a minute but I’m going to ask for help from my incredible network. Earlier this week, the Grayson County sheriff’s office reached out to Becky Shewchuk with WindyHill Equine Rescue and Rehoming regarding 16 horses living in horrible conditions. He was able to get the owner to sign them over but, as we all know, rescues are full and most over capacity themselves. Most times it takes a village. And that’s what came together. A village of rescues and volunteers offering to help. The horses have been removed from the property and will start to rehab and heal. These horses are all unhandled and, I would even say feral. The financial need will be hefty to give these horses the feed, medical and handling needed to see they have great futures. If you are able to help, even a little:
