Startup for Hill Private Investigators
I am wanting to start my own private investigator buisness to help others return found items back to the original owners. I had a recent venture when we found photos and documents that were thrown away. I thought, "How can anyone just throw these away?" So I started to dig up information. I contacted over 4 different police departments in 5 states. California, Utah, Idaho, Missouri, and Arizona. No one could help. I decided to start calling all the phone numbers in the little book, none were active from the 1960s. Next I started looking for the family members and friends that were written in documents regarding a death. With no avail, they were all deceased. I got on Facebook and searched, once again, with no avail. I didnt want to give up, so I started looking at the old photographs. I found one that had a name and a birthday from 1980s. So I decided to pook it up on facebook and found a great grandson of the family. He was so excited when I sent the photo to him. Hes said, Yes! That's me, where did you get this? That's when we started talking about all the items that we had found and explained we wanted to get them back to the family whom it belonged to. No one knows how it ended up here in a small town in Utah, as the last know living relative died 10 years ago in Arizona. While this is te most recent example of what I've been able to do, to help connect people with lost items or with family members. I want to do this for a living. Not only because it makes me feel wonderful to help others with difficult situations like this, but because it's just the right thing to do!
