I am starting this fundraiser for a friend who recently confided in me that she is in an abusive marriage and is finally brave enough to leave.
She homeschools her two children who have special needs, and only currently works part time! We are in the process of securing additional employment and cost effective childcare! The next step is finding her a safe place to call her own. I would love to help her raise enough money for a deposit and the first month's rent on a small house or apartment.
Please help me help her! Every dollar donated is a sign of hope - and that while the people in her past taught her that she could not successfully do anything on her own, there are people who care enough to help, believe in her future, and know that with action, positive changes are on their way, and she and her kids will be on their way to a new, happy life! A kind of life she has NEVER known.
