Starting over in emergency accommodation

Hello my name is Carina ,

Im currently unable to work as I’m waiting for surgery which has been massively delayed due to both the pandemic backlog and a admin error in the cardiology department, in the midst of health issues I’m finding that I have to start again and have been given emergency accommodation by a local council for a minimum of two years, I’m moving in next week and don’t have anything for the tiny studio flat I’ve been given. Also I have to pay the surplus rent which is cutting deeply into my living costs. So I can’t afford to buy these essential items, I’ve calculated the amount I need based on the cheapest stuff.

I need a:

Kettle

Toaster

Cooking hob

Rice cooker

Table and chairs

Desk

Duvet

Pillows

Bean bag ( this is for the bed as I have to sleep sitting up )

Bed side table ( not essential)

Wardrobe or storage boxes

Room divider

Cups

Plates

Cutlery

Curtains

Mirror

Iron 

Ironing board 

Travel costs to take the things I do have have to the new place
