Starting Over…..Again.

Having just moved to the bucolic hamlet of Rainelle, WV, this last November 2017, our friend and colleague Dianna Burgess, looked to be closer to her extended family.  A dynamic member of our DC team, she saved hard so that she, her husband James and two younger children Dennis and James could have a simpler home life in the mountains of WV.  A simpler life and a new start.  This simplicity was interrupted this last Thursday afternoon, August 16, 2018.  Upon returning from picking her boys up from school, at approximately 3:30pm, she found their new home engulfed in flames.  Her husband, arriving shortly thereafter, tried to save what he could against her protests.  While the family was safely out of the house, little of their possessions were saved.  Personal belongings, furniture, clothes and memories were gone in an instant, for yet unexplained reasons.  Family, Friends and Church have all stepped in with offers of assistance, to do what they can to rebuild the home they were so proud of.  But they simply need more help.  So many of you have asked the same question, “How can we help?” that we decided to start this site.   Dianna has already said to those of us that have spoken to her that “this too will come to pass.”  Let’s help her get there sooner.  She would do the same for us.
