Thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Melissa, and my husband Chris and I are reaching out on behalf of our 22-year-old son. Earlier today, he experienced a devastating apartment fire that has turned his world upside down.

He lost everything in the fire — all of his belongings are gone, and he escaped with only the clothes on his back. Most heartbreaking of all, his beloved kitten is missing, and we don’t yet know if she made it out safely.
