I honestly hate doing this and don't like asking for help, but at this point, we are desperate. My husband and I are currently in a bad situation where we are living. A house we wanted to help fix and be closer to family backfired. We discovered we were homeowners through the mail due to it transferring from family, and we have been struggling ever since. We've been picking away at fixing things and replacing them, but it's a sinking ship. There are major expenses without homeowners insurance; it's been near impossible. Some of the major expenses include the foundation, 2 chimneys that we've been using for heat, water backing into the basement when we do dishes, and so many more things. We would've just kept going along with things breaking, but now to top the stress, we no longer feel safe in our home due to a domestic dispute with family. We need to move and start over. We have had other unexpected expenses recently due to my health problems along with getting into a car accident. At this point, any little bit will help with our near impossible goal to hopefully finally be safe. At this point the anxiety for both of us is becoming more destructive as the days go on wondering if we are going to have the cops at the house again or if we are even going to have a house to come back home to due the foundation crumbling. At this point, this house needs to be condemned. Thank you for even reading this. I understand that it's tough for everyone right now, and this is a long shot.
