Starting my surgery journey

Hey everyone! Most of you know me but allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kassi Lottman. I have been on a journey to help find treatment for my lipedema (a painful connective tissue disorder). I had planned on seeing Dr. Byrd at the end of November, but having gotten some updated information about her, she would not longer be a good fit for me. I do however have an appointment with Dr. Hagopian who is also in Georgia. He also does the special type of liposuction to help debulk my legs, AND will be able to remove any skin that needs to be removed, because he is plastic surgeon as well. The funds I am asking for with this gofund me is travel expenses and any out of pocket that I have. I will be driving and will have to stay a few nights there. Yes it is going to be a long drive but I have thought it out and weighed out the pros and cons. I appreciate each and every one of you that have been going on this roller coaster with me. I know God has a plan for me in this. I truly hope that this consultation is helpful and we can proceed forward with surgeries so that I will have less pain and be able to enjoy life again.
