Everything I own has been stolen. The only things left are the dress I’m wearing and my two dogs.
My name is Xanthe and at the start of the year I packed my life into my Ute along with my two dogs and set out on the road to discover more about life.
I recently went for a night to a festival to connect with new found friends. I parked my Ute on the quiet dirt road outside the festival as I had to leave very early the next day to go to work. When I went to leave I discovered my Ute missing. I spoke to security, festival organisers, and police, and was confirmed my life, my home, my Ute was stolen.
Everything that is important to me (apart from my dogs) are in that Ute. My whole life. And no, silly me doesn’t have insurance.
Some of the things taken include my birth certificate, passport, wallet, laptop, guitar, clothes, and all the things that are important to me and enable me to survive in life and on the road.
I was currently working as I had recently run out of money, but had only been working two weeks before this happened and now I’ve had to quit as I no longer have a home or transport to live and work there anymore. I am currently hitching over 1500kms to return to my hometown (with my dogs) to start over again.
I don’t normally ask for help but I am at the lowest point I have been and any help would mean the world to me.
My my goal is to regain the essentials of what I have lost and start again. Any kind of donation would help me get back on track and I would be forever grateful!
