My name is Sheila Healy.

From the very moment I stepped into the world of Irish dance, I was captivated. I looked up to my older sisters and always tried to mimic every move they did. The rhythm and quickness of the feet, the jumping so effortlessly in the air with no movement in the body. Irish dance is such a mesmerizing, beautiful, and unique form of dance . 

I started Irish dance when I was 4 years old and practiced 6 days a week . It was the thrill of competing across the US, Canada, and Ireland and all my lifelong friends I met along the way that dance quickly became the heartbeat of my life. 

During the tumultuous year that was 2020, I dared to dream and opened Sheila Healy Academy, which I wanted to be a safe haven for all the dancers and Irish dance enthusiasts.

Embarking on a new venture amidst a global pandemic was a daunting task, yet the unwavering love and support from my exceptional students and parents breathed life into this dream. I am profoundly grateful for each and every one of them.

Now, after a journey marked by dedication and passion, I finally found a studio to call "home" for my dance family. The transformation of turning this incredible space into a dream studio comes with a significant price tag, particularly for essential elements like wood, Marley flooring, and mirrors which is integral to the dancers' experience.

Understanding that we are amidst the holiday season, I acknowledge and appreciate the value of every dollar. Your contribution or even a share holds immeasurable significance. As a small business owner, my mission extends beyond teaching Irish dance. I aspire to instill strength, independence, positivity, compassion, manners, confiDANCE and the essence of being a good human being.

This endeavor is more than creating a studio; it's about crafting a home—a sanctuary where young dancers find support, positivity, and resilience during life's challenges.
