Start up Costs for Diakonos Independent Ministries

My Name is Steve Hofmeister, and I am an Independent Non-Denominational Christian Minister. I am raising funds to start up a Christian ministry. I am a disabled fellow with limited financial resources to start this without support. I put what little financial resource I can spare personally into building an image for this effort. Being our ministry effort is independent and not backed by a particular denomination of Christian Faith; it is difficult to gain financial support.
I have chosen to start this Ministry independently because I want to help the Christian Church as a whole. In many areas in the United States today, there is a big divide between the Church and Community. Churches struggle to reach the community, or people have a predetermined idea of what being a Christian is. They may have had bad experiences with "Organized Religion," as I did as a teenager.
Diakonos Independent Ministries of Maryland does not operate a church in the typical definition.

Much like the Apostles of Jesus Christ in the years following his resurrection and ascension to heaven we are about ministering about the holy trinity of God, Jesus Christ, and The Holy Spirit out in the community.
We believe the Church is anywhere people gather to worship or learn about God and Christianity. These places could be a park, a home, a campsite, even a table at a restaurant.
Matthew 18:20 New International Version (NIV) 20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."
This "old school" methodology allows us to meet the community in the middle. These concepts provide us the ability to adapt services to the community need or situation. We do not see ourselves as Street Corner Preachers. We see ourselves more as flexible preachers. A minister on the street, with the people
We want to be able not just to help one church, but all the Christian churches within a community, leaving the individual choice to the people. We will focus a portion of our effort to help bolster and increase the growth and health of struggling churches within the communities we will serve.
We want to be in the community ministering to those who are not part of a church community as well. We want to offer unique and fun-spirited worship and education opportunities outside the doors of the church building. To help correct any misinterpretations they have about Church and Christianity. We want to bring those who once walked with Jesus back to his side, and those who need him to know him.
Sometimes, you need a shoulder to lean on, someone to confide in, and pray along with you. Or just someone to listen. We are willing to be there. It could be on the phone or merely sitting on a bench somewhere. If you are a member of a church, that's great we encourage you to continue that relationship with your church family. We provide ministry services that help fill the gap that can sometimes be inconvenient for you in your regular pastor's schedule. We will gladly coordinate with and keep your pastor involved if that is your wish.
We intend to offer some fee-based services to help support the Ministry as well. Examples of these services are listed below.

The funds raised by this fundraiser campaign will go specifically to properly register this Ministry as an Organization with the State of Maryland and as a 501 ( c ) (3) Not for Profit Entity with the Internal Revenue Service.
Registered as an Organization, and having the 501 (c ) (3) Not for Profit status will allow us to set up the appropriate bank accounts that will enable us to apply for grant programs and other funding resources.
Even the smallest of donations to our cause is a help.
