Hi guys - as many of you know, we have been on a journey these last few months with Grace. And while we are fortunate to have the means to provide Grace with not just care, but also not stress about paying bills I quickly learned that’s not the case for the vast majority of patients we are in treatment with. We roomed with a precious girl recently who made Grace light up. They became “besties”. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma on November 11 and is in chemo till surgery in a few months. I learned from this sweet girl that her parents are struggling to pay rent (Paola Barrous is her mom’s name), something that I’m sure her mom would be mortified to know I learned. I asked the social worker on the floor what could be done and she said a go-fund me that would go to Hope and Heroes with the intention of going to her family would be life changing for them. So here I am asking you to make a donation that will give this family some much needed, and well deserved, good news. To have a mother be able to take care of her sick daughter and not worry about paying rent is such a basic thing we all would take for granted, myself included. Thanks everyone.

These funds will be donated directly to Hope and Heroes- a pediatric cancer foundation. From there, the funds will be distributed monthly to assist this family with paying their rent and other monthly bills as needed.
