Help Start II Animal Shelter Recover After Flood

Your donations will help Start II, a no-kill dog and cat shelter, recover after a flood.

Rising water overtook the indoor dog kennels during the first week of August 2024.

The dogs living at the shelter weren't safe. Water rose abover their platform beds. Fortunately, volunteers, emergency fosters, and local emergency workers came to the rescue!

Our cat houses were also strewn about and suffered damage.

The resident canines have returned to the shelter.

But Start II still needs funds to fully recover and to keep operating safely and securely.
