Mary and Startfreshpa need your help

I started Startfreshpa.com in May 2019 I needed a job and found that it was hard to find one at my mature age. I had used up my savings and maxed out my credit cards after caring for family members financially for several years helping them get away from an abusive situation.  I was doing well until March 2020 When COVID hit

I am unable to work because of Coronavirus, I have no income. Because I am self employed and my business started in May 2019,I was earning 20-30 dollars an hour and the Unemployment system In North Carolina is a mess In May I finally started to receive PUA but it was suspended pending proof of self employment which I had mailed pages and pages to their office. 
My car needs a new timing chain my unemployment has been delayed and I have no health care

I need help to pay my rent and for food and utilities and a new timing chain for my car 
I haven’t been able to get out to see my family my new granddaughter go to a store
I loved having my own business at 64 years old and I thought I would do well towards retirement but now I’m just trying to stay alive sane with a roof over my head
I feel like I have paid it forward I was an abused kid for my whole childhood...all of the abuses and neglect
I took my life and gave it back to kids. I coached sports for 20 years, volunteering, I was a scout leader taught school, I gave my kids what I never had growing up.
I know there are many people like me that need a helping hand. I always will and promise to pay it forward when I can

I am isolated from my family like many people are and it’s tough  and like so many people we are all hurting.  I want you to know that I’m grateful that you took the time to read my plea for help
