Support the Bridge Food Pantry in East Gainesville

Responding to the lack of grocers and inexpensive food options in East Gainesville , the Gainesville Vineyard raised start up funds to launch a regular, permanent food pantry housed at the Vineyard church  campus (The Bridge) in Lincoln Estates. The pantry launched in September and takes place every other Saturday, offering a variety of canned goods, meats, produce and other household supplies. What makes this effort different is a focus on dignity: people can make their own food choices, shop for their food, and aren't subject to any humiliating screenings. In our first few events, we are serving over 80 families per Saturday. Running the pantry costs between $1000-1500 per month and your partnership is needed.  Donations are tax deductible and will make a huge difference in an area where food security is a daily concern for many.
