Hi! I'm Deanna..I am raising funds to start my own community clay studio in St.Clair Shores Michigan. I have been running a clay studio and teaching ceramics to adults and children for 13 years. I am looking to branch out to create a clay studio for artists to fully explore the medium. This includes the pottery wheel, hand building, glazing, mold making, and the overall fulfilling and ongoing experience of being part of a creative community space. An emphasis on education, creative learning and problem solving for all ages. Whether you are looking for a new learning experience or a clay studio to learn advanced skills in a welcoming environment, Eastside Clay will provide a unique space with 20 years clay experience and a passion for the medium! I am looking for funds to round out the equipment in the studio- pottery wheels X4 ($1,600 each) tables, chairs, shelving, glaze chemicals, and all of the basic clay studio stuffs.
