Hello, my name is Ryan Tucker also known as Starship Gazer and I'm creating this fund raiser to try to raise money for several urgently needed car repairs.
For the past several months my car has had no A/C (needs new evaporator core), is leaking a lot of oil while driving which is creating a strong smoke odor in the cabin, the front brakes have completely worn out and it has been discovered that my front wheel struts are badly cracked and must be replaced. To fix these issues, my car urgently needs a full front brake job (brake pads, rotors, calipers) $550, new front wheel struts $650, valve cover and gasket $120, oil fill cap $25, turbo oil feed line $60, oil cooler seal $35, oil change $85, driver side rear view mirror $60, interior detail clean for uber/lyft passengers $150, Air Conditioner Evaporator Core Replacement $590, and engine and cabin air filters $45. My car is a 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited LT with 190,000 miles. I have driven over 102,000 miles while documenting Starbase and Starship development over the past 4 years and 7 months and have had to spend many many thousands of dollars on various repairs and maintenance. I cannot afford to cover such expensive repairs with my Extremely limited income. I have worked as a part time Uber and Lyft driver for the past 5 years while full time documenting Starbase and Starship development and have to have a fully functional, reliable and safe vehicle in order to continue driving uber/lyft passengers to make money to cover my basic daily expenses and to cover Starbase. I'm also losing around $50 per day of lost driving income that also needs to be replaced so I am requesting $2,280 for the multiple urgent car repairs needed and $700 for lost daily driving income that is needed to pay other monthly bills. Gofundme will also take fees of around $100 for the hosting of the fundraiser.
In addition to the emergency car repairs I also urgently need many other critical items which I will post another larger Gofundme fundraiser for after my car is fully repaired. If I receive any money over the goal amount it will be put towards these other critical items needed for me to continue documenting Starbase and Starship development.
So I am requesting total emergency assistance of $3,080 for car repairs/lost driving income and $100 for Gofundme fees = $3,180. Thank you very very very much for donations of any size!! I will post all receipts and updates here after the fundraiser is complete. Thank you!!
