Stars Over Scars

We are raising money to help fund the launch event for Stars Over Scars. The event will be on November 11th from 7:00 to 9:30 pm, at Restoration 1894. This event will feature live jazz musicians, poets, dancers, local artists, keynote speakers, light hors d'oeuvres, and much more! Stars Over Scars mission is dedicated to healing victims of all forms of trauma using all forms of art. By donating money and supplies to local art-based businesses to offer free or low-cost art classes for victims of trauma in the community. From painting, dance, music, yoga, writing, etc. Stars Over Scars will provide victims of trauma with a safe and creative space to focus on sharpening our pencils to keep creating as well as healing and to de-emphasize the focus from the past we can’t erase.
