I am not good with words so bare with me

I have been trans I think forever and that shit is expensive. Under our current and recent governments, the NHS has never been an option for me and so since my first job, I have been saving every bit that I can so I can start living.

Due to my health, I can't bind for prolonged periods of time. It used to be manageable but since my chronic illness has worsened as I've gotten older this too is no longer an option and working is increasingly hard (fuck CFS/ME) as I fully depend on my student loans to live.

I'm 22 and I got to a point where I realised how much time I have spent "managing" and I refuse to grieve myself any longer.

What I have saved is able to cover procedure costs but there is also the cost of travel, accommodation near the hospital in case of complications, the cost of LIVING- like straight-up RENT (I will be unable to work for a prolonged period while recovering).

I am a full-time student and if all can go ahead, I will have my surgery in October while writing my dissertation which leaves me with negative-time to source funding during my recovery which is why I'm setting this up now
