Somebody worked their whole life. Then one morning, it was gone.

Not stolen at gunpoint.
Stolen with a handshake and a smile.
That's a Ponzi scheme. And it happens to thousands of retirees every single year.

Nobody talks about it. The victims are too ashamed. So they stay quiet — and their children learn what happened to the inheritance only after the funeral.

We can't stop thinking about that.
But here's what most victims never hear: There's a real way back.

Who we are
We're Aaron and Rebecca Novinger — husband and wife, and owners of a small business accounting firm. We've sat across the table from many of these victims and it's absolute devastation for those affected.

Every year, we take to the road for the families financial fraud leaves behind.

Aaron pedals a bright blue, human-powered velomobile — “America's Weirdest Bike” — 2,000 miles from Dallas/Fort Worth to the steps of the U.S. Capitol. Rebecca runs the logistics, the safety, and the nationwide outreach from the home office.

Two people. One mission. An unstoppable team.

This is our 3rd Annual Pedaling Against Ponzis ride: 2,000 miles. Dallas to D.C.

Why we ride
“A Ponzi scheme is a financial hurricane. Form 4684, Section C is the rainbow after the storm. There is hope — and we ride to tell everyone.”
— Aaron Novinger

Our first two rides were a fight — lobbying to protect a vital tax provision before it expired.

We won.

This year is the victory lap, with a bigger mission than ever: make sure every victim, every family, and every financial advisor in America knows this lifeline exists.

The families we ride for
Our rides have been dedicated to the victims of the StarGrower Ponzi scheme — but the impact reaches far beyond one case.
Millions lost. Retirements erased. Trust broken.

The people behind these schemes move on. The families they hit are still rebuilding.

That's the part we can't accept. In almost every other crime, the punishment fits. Here, it never does.

Our campaign stands on three pillars
1. Awareness
We pull this hidden crime into the national spotlight — and give victims permission to stop suffering in silence.

2. Relief through IRS Form 4684, Section C
A provision almost no one knows exists. It can return up to 95% of what a victim lost. Most CPAs have never heard of it. We ride to put it in the hands of every family who needs it.

3. Changing the law
We advocate for stricter penalties for those convicted — and for state relief funds, an FDIC for fraud victims, so no family is ever left with nothing.

Here's where you come in
We can pedal. We can advocate. We can knock on every door between Texas and D.C.

But we can't do it alone.

Sign the petition at PonziRelief.org. Help us show lawmakers that fraud victims have a nation standing behind them.

Give. Your gift goes directly to covering essential mission costs and to families impacted by Ponzi schemes.

We'll reach our goal the same way we ride — one mile, and one gift, at a time. Together, we rewrite the ending.

With warmest regards,

Aaron & Rebecca Novinger
