Stardust Station 2.0! Keeping Creative Space Alive

Dear friends,


In the last four years, The Warehouse, now Stardust Station, has served as an underground hub where music, art, community and camaraderie melded together in such a heartfelt experience. We hosted about 40 gatherings in that time, right here in the living room! From art shows to vintage markets and local musical performances, it’s truly been a privilege to work with so many amazing people and talented artists to make these events a reality.


Today, Nevada County is undergoing a shift which is an opportunity to imagine a new way forward. A shared community vision is forming and as part of that, it’s so incredibly important to preserve spaces for creative work, collaboration, community organizing and celebration. 


With that, we are so excited to announce the next iteration of Stardust Station and the expansion to a new and improved space, one that lives up to the dream that it always was: a venue for artistic alliance! Work has begun to renovate and build out a larger, dedicated venue with three art studios/maker spaces, communal kitchen and living room flex space, merchandise and entry way for welcoming guests/members, and large outdoor area for market events and creative endeavors perfect for today’s need to comply with social distancing guidelines. 

  ~But we need your help to get this bird in the air!~ 


Join us and donate - Become a founding member and receive incentives plus the intrinsic benefits that come from your contribution to build a brighter, creative community during such strange times. Your donation will be directly applied towards site improvements and essentials like insurance, paint, tables, chairs, fencing, gardens, the sound system, maintenance and long-term sustainability. Our goal is to raise $10,000 by October 5th.

~MEMBERSHIP:


In light of the era we are living through, we are restructuring to offer a more intimate, health and safety conscious
environment here at  Stardust Station.

The space will now be membership based

Membership is $10 a month or $120/yr

Your membership gives you first notice about shows and events that will, for the foreseeable future have limited capacity
to allow for social distancing.

You also will receive a $5 discount on ticket price for all events and a plus one non-member guest allowance per event

Your membership gives you a 10% discount on the cost to rent the space for your own private events or shows 

Your membership helps support the viability and preservation of a beautiful collective creative space in Nevada City

We are absolutely dreaming of a time in the hopefully near future when we can gather
without the need for these concerns but we want to keep our community as safe as possible
and be as responsible as we can.




 


~No events/gatherings will be hosted using the indoor space until it is safe to do so.
