Hi everyone, my name is Kat, and along with my friend Jane, who met the lovely Deb in December at the hotel, who is another animal lover, we are all hoping that some of you kind and wonderful people out there can help with saving these precious souls from a life of misery.

My husband and I visited Agadir in November and we were lucky to meet an amazing human being, Elke from Germany who has been visiting Agadir for the past 23 years and she helps these amazing placid dogs by getting them the vaccine and healthcare they desperately need, including getting them spayed/neutered and also tagged so they can live safely on the beach and avoid being culled.

In November, Elke paid for the lovely Star, who sleeps on the hotel beach to be vaccinated, spayed and tagged which came after a really sad story of when Star had her puppies taken from her and destroyed as part of a cull.

Since then, Elke has helped lots of stray dogs living on the beach who have all been vaccinated, had treatment and are safely tagged (all paid by Elke herself) and these dogs can now live protected on the beach without fear of being culled.

We would like to help these lovely dogs have a long and healthy life and would like to contribute to the local vet bills (Cabinet Veterinaire Dehbi, in Agadir), to the amazing taxi driver Abdulla, who helps collect the dogs and transports them to the vet and also towards their aftercare and recuperation with Hussan, a local dog trainer until they are well enough to be brought back to the beach.
