Stan's Marina Flood Recovery fundraiser

Hello to you all,

We experienced a devastating loss February 17, 2022 when our beloved Stan's Marina was the victim of a flood from Kettle Creek ice jamming that let loose. Stan's Marina has been a staple in Port Stanley since 1961 serving our communities with a full service marina offering a friendly smile along with seasonal docks, one of the only gas fills in our area for boats, parts and repair services, friendly afternoon chats, musical gatherings to bring our community together with seasonal visitors, kayaking/canoeing facilities and boat ramping services.

It was only 3 years ago that we suffered the same catastrophic event driving insurance deductibles beyond an affordable amount. This was then followed by a log jam that caused significant damage to Stan's again in the fall of 2021.

Our beloved friend Dave, the proprietor of Stan's Marina needs our help to recover from this devastating loss. Even the smallest amount of a donation would be greatly appreciated to cover deductibles, repairs and replacement costs so we can ensure Stan's Marina can rebuild and remain a vital part of our community.

These pictures show the start of the damage but we had to evacuate before the full force of the ice jamming damage took us over.
