Stan's family, with medical emergency costs

Hi, my name is Kenni Roberts, I am fundraising to help raise financial aid towards my Uncle Stan Schrock's recent medical accident.

Stan Schrock was working on a ladder this last Thursday October 26th, 2023 when he fell sustaining multiple injuries. He broke his ankle, three lumbar vertebrae, and a cervical vertebrae as well. He is currently in Duluth receiving treatment, and will be staying there for physical therapy as he will be in a brace and not able to return home until he is able to to walk with crutches as he is also in a cast.

Stan is a proud father, to Nick and Ari Schrock, husband to Katie Schrock, and loving brother in law to Ralph Lilja. Stan has been an outstanding member of our community. Stan has served as LPN, (Nurse) for many years, as well as worked as a caregiver to both Littlefork Nursing home and Good Samaritan Society in International Falls. He also provided homecare to rural surrounding areas. Stan has earned respect not only from his co-workers and patients, but from community members as well. He is well known as "Stan the Man" for being humorous, kind, and generous to all walks of life. Stan and his wife Katie were appointed full guardianship of her adopted brother with down syndrome, Ralph Lilja in 2015 after my grandmother broke her hip and was unable to care for him.

Both Stan and Katie have received love and support from the Full Gospel Fellowship, and their pastor Ron Hostetter. Ron and his wife have even taken time volunteering to transit Katie and the boys to Duluth so they can be with their father. Unfortunately, even with the blessings of the church, the family is going to need more assistance.

Stan's wife Katie is a full time home school teacher to both their son, caregiver to her brother Ralph, and is having to make multiple overnight trips with the boys to Duluth. While Stan is unable to currently provide for his family, the medical events created a massive financial toll on Stan and Katie's family.

Stan and Katie have both been known as generous and loving individuals who have helped many people including myself.

Katie is my aunt through marriage, as my father married her sister. Katie has always treated me as blood, and has helped raise me to be the person I am today. Her and Stan exemplified this attitude with everyone they meet, and never boast of their contributions.

I took it upon myself to create this fundraiser, in attempt to give back to a very deserving family.
