Stan's Emergency Surgery

First of all, thank you everyone for the support. Here is an update from Jenny:

1/24 Update! Stanley is home! Luckily Stanley has beat the odds and did not reblock this morning upon taking out his catheter! He was able to return home today. He has a road of recovery ahead, so keep him in your thoughts and hope that he stays healthy during his recovery. Today he started new diet and is on medication to maintain his urinary tract so this never happens again. Thank you all for making this possible. Stanley and I are so grateful that he is able to have more time here with everyone who loves him! I’m so blown away by the support we received and cannot begin to thank everyone enough! When Jodi suggested a gofund me to aid in the costly surgery, I was weary because I didn't think that anyone would care about my cat. I was so wrong. I really can't even begin to explain how much this has helped me and Stanley. As an animal owner, you don't expect for an expensive surgery, but it's always a possibility, so thank you.

Initial post: My sister's cat, Stanley, was rushed for emergency surgery tonight as he was extremely uncomfortable and lethargic. Upon getting to the emergency vet she was told that his urinary tract system developed a blockage that prevented him from being able to flush toxins from his body and is now dealing with issues with his kidneys and heart.

My sister is in college, getting incredible grades all while working at the same time. This is a huge expense for her, but Stanley is an important part of her life and our family. We understand that there is a lot of hardship right now, but anything is appreciated and any little bit helps. Thank you so much in advance.
