Calling out to all of the South Elgin Community, residents & surrounding areas. 

There was an unfortunate event that took place this morning and one of our local establishments unfortunately had a fire that did enough damage to where they now have to close indefinitely not knowing what the future holds for them. 

Scott & Dawn Stanley have attempted to Stay positive throughout this whole crazy last year and this pandemic and they have made numerous attempts to stay open and be successful during this difficult time while staying safe and allowing their employees to earn an income so that they could provide for their families and that they too were able to stay afloat and live... 

This is the last thing that anybody needs but especially them- I feel like every time Scott does something positive or helpful for someone it doesn’t ever come back to him. I believe it’s his turn. 

The bar just celebrated their 10th year in business and he had some new & exciting plans in the future, yet here he is devastated by this set back. 

In addition, obviously the employees are now not able to work & earn a living for their families as well. 

My hope is that Scott comes up with a creative way to stay open & beat this just like he always does. I understand he’s feeling defeated and beat up & It’s going to take time but we, as a community can help him & the staff. 

Scott Stanley is ALWAYS the first in our town to offer help or assistance or try to raise money or help with a benefit for something or someone!!!!! He is one of the most selfless human beings I know. 

ITS OUR TIME TO GIVE BACK TO HIM!!!!!
