Jim Kindinger, dear father of Stanley and Victor, passed away on August 23, 2021. Jim was a outdoorsy. He loved playing tennis, riding bike, hiking and swimming. Jim is also a livelong blood donor. His health went a dramatic down turn after he took covid-19 shots and a blood donation in April and May. Immediately after his second covid-19 shot, he was not able to play tennis and ride bike any more. He was not able to go cherry picking in May, an activities he loved to do with Stanley every year. He was not able to go to Yosemite at the end of May, a trip his family has planed for. He continued to suffer nerve damages, lost most of his muscles and developed a most aggressive form of motor neuron disease.
In raising up Stanley, a child with special needs, Jim has put in tremendous effort and resources to make sure Stanley has good individualized education, to maximize Stanley's independent potential in the future. The unfortunate and sudden lost of Jim's life has the greatest impact on Stanley's life. He will no longer have his father sitting next to him and teach him. He will not be able to enjoy riding bike and hiking with his father anymore. He will not the companion of his father who has been providing to him.
Thanks to so many family friends and neighbors who has generously asked for a way to donate money to support us. I am setting up this GoFundMe fund raising activity to raise money to pay for attorney fees and to fund a special trust for Stanley.
